Something Big is Missing From Flight of Passage

Flight of Passage is, hands down, the most popular ride in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. However, something big is missing!

It is no secret that Avatar Flight of Passage is one of Walt Disney World’s most popular rides. Though the ride opened years ago within the magical World of Pandora, it remains a headliner and attracts high wait times.

It is so popular and well-loved that when Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance took Hollywood Studios by storm, Flight of Passage fans remained steadfast. Many claim it is still the best ride in Walt Disney World, even compared with newcomers like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and TRON.

Your experience with the attraction may be a bit altered though, as something big is missing from the queue.

Missing

The queue for Flight of Passage is incredibly long. It begins outside and then finally you enter the indoor portion. In the indoor portion, you will see a lab with the massively sized Navi floating in the glass tube.

This morning as we walked through the queue we noticed that the Navi is gone!

We are unsure how long the Navi has been missing from the queue or when he will return.

What does this mean for you?

If you enter the queue via the Lightning Lane, this missing Navi really does not affect you. You bypass almost everything in the standby line and meet up right before the pre-show.

However, if you ride via the standby line, the Navi is one of the highlights of the queue. It is massive and provides a “wow” factor as you are waiting 60+ minutes to ride.

Hopefully the Navi returns soon, so Guests can enjoy it as they wait for the attraction! This really is a fun part of the queue.
