Tiers Announced for Disney’s New Multi Pass Lightning Lanes

Like the old FastPass+, Guests will soon be able to make advanced selections. And, just like the old system, there will be tiers for this pre-booking. See which attractions are included.

Lightning Lane Multi Passes

Starting July 24, Walt Disney World is simplifying how guests book rides. The Disney Genie+ service will be renamed Lightning Lane Multi-Pass, and the individual Lightning Lane will now be called Lightning Lane Single Pass.

With Lightning Lane passes, you can book access for multiple days at once. Starting July 24, the Lightning Lane Multi-Pass allows you to make up to 3 Lightning Lane selections before your visit.

Lightning Lane Single Pass will work much like it does today, where you can secure a time to ride one of our most highly demanded attractions, but you’ll now be able to make your purchase and plan in advance. However, unlike Genie+ attractions are now grouped into tiers.

If you remember the old FastPass+ days, you’ll remember you could only book one of your selections in the top tier (the most popular rides). The other two could be booked within the second tier. Well, Disney is bringing that back.

Magic Kingdom Tiers

Multi Pass Experiences: When purchasing a Lightning Lane Multi Pass for Magic Kingdom park, you’ll be prompted to choose up to 3 multi pass experiences and arrival windows.

Choose up to one experience from this group:

• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
• Jungle Cruise
• Peter Pan’s Flight
• Space Mountain
• Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Choose your other 2 experiences—or all 3—from this group:

• The Barnstormer
• Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
• Dumbo the Flying Elephant
• Haunted Mansion
• “it’s a small world”
• Mad Tea Party
• The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
• The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
• Mickey’s PhilharMagic
• Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor
• Pirates of the Caribbean
• Tomorrowland Speedway
• Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid

Once you redeem a selection on the day of your park visit, you can choose another multi pass experience from either group (subject to availability). If you have valid admission with the Park Hopper option, you could even choose a multi pass experience in a different theme park (subject to availability).

Single Pass attractions (like Individual Lightning Lanes) include Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and TRON Lightcycle / Run.

Epcot Tiers

Multi Pass Experiences: When purchasing a Lightning Lane Multi Pass for EPCOT, you’ll be prompted to choose up to 3 multi pass experiences and arrival windows.

Choose up to one experience from this group:

• Frozen Ever After
• Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
• Soarin’ Around the World

Choose your other 2 experiences—or all 3—from this group:

• Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival
• Journey into Imagination with Figment
• Living with the Land
• Mission: SPACE
• The Seas with Nemo & Friends
• Spaceship Earth
• Turtle Talk with Crush

A Single Pass can be purchased for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

Once you redeem a selection on the day of your park visit, you can choose another multi pass experience from either group (subject to availability). If you have valid admission with the Park Hopper option, you could even choose a multi pass experience in a different theme park (subject to availability).

Hollywood Studios Tiers

Multi Pass Experiences: When purchasing a Lightning Lane Multi Pass for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’ll be prompted to choose up to 3 multi pass experiences and arrival windows.

Choose up to one experience from this group:

• Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
• Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
• Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
• Slinky Dog Dash

Choose your other 2 experiences—or all 3—from this group:

• Alien Swirling Saucers
• Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage
• Disney Junior Play & Dance!
• For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
• Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
• Muppet*Vision 3D
• Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
• The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™
• Toy Story Mania!

A Single Pass can be purchased for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is differerent because it does not have tiers. All of the following attractions can be booked together.

• DINOSAUR
• Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
• Feathered Friends in Flight!
• Festival of the Lion King
• Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!
• It’s Tough to Be a Bug!
• Kali River Rapids
• Kilimanjaro Safaris
• Naʻvi River Journey

Like the other three parks, once you redeem your first selection that day, you can choose another multi pass experience (subject to availability). If you have valid admission with the Park Hopper option, you could even choose a multi pass experience in a different theme park (subject to availability).

A Single Pass can be purchased for Avatar: Flight of Passage.

You will also notice in all parks, character meet and greets that have a Lightning Lane are not part of the tiers. We are unsure if that means these are only “day-of” selections, but we will keep you posted when we know for sure.
