Animal Kingdom park hours increased and Rivers of Light shows added.

With the busy Spring Break season beginning this weekend and running through most of April, park hours for Disney’s Animal Kingdom have increased for many nights from March 11, 2017 through April 1, 2017.

Additionally, Rivers of Light is going to offer TWO shows for every night that the show was scheduled instead of merely one show.  You’ll find the changes take place from March 11 through April 22.  The show is only shown nightly during the two busiest weeks of Easter break.

You can find the updated park hours and Rivers of Light schedules on my March Crowd Calendar and April Crowd Calendar.

What's the story with the days where a 10:00 pm show was added? The park hours still say closing is at 9:30 pm. First week of April has a few examples of this schedule.

They often do that with Fantasmic as well. Rides close 9:30 and show will be at 10pm

Thanks, Kenny! I was really hoping they would add ROL to more days in March instead of two shows on the already scheduled days...have you heard if they will? We had already made all of our FP+ and ADRs by the time they announced that ROL would finally happen. It's too challenging to move around now with us leaving in 17 days :(

Haven't seen any change in the days offered, only 2 shows

Even if AK is the most recommended park on a given day, do you think it will be more crowded on nights offering RoL? Thank you for always keeping us updated!
