It’s been a crazy week. I had to work overtime, so I had little free time this week. I did run over to Tampa for the Scream Cam, if you’d like to see that craziness, let me know. So, today we pick up after the first parade with our story of the September 20th Halloween Party experience.
We had stopped in the Diamond Horseshoe earlier in the party to visit with Bullseye, but he wasn’t there. After the parade concluded in Town Square we made over there to see if he had returned while collecting some candy along the way.
9:20 PM When we entered this time Bullseye wasn’t around. I asked Woody if he had seen him. After waiting a couple of minutes we headed to the candy bucket at the exit and chatted with the Cast Member there. Woody actually came over to inform me that Bullseye was now out.
After meeting several eager young fans, Bullseye gave me a high shoe. I tried to lift my shoe up to meet his, but I’m not as limber as him and only have two legs, so I needed one of them to stand! We settled on a horseshoe/hand greeting instead.
9:29 PM We saw Suzy and Perla meeting guests behind the carousel, near the wall and darted over to see them. They recognized me and were excited that they would get their photos on the blog :) They didn’t know it would take so long though.
I had met Suzy and Perla in the same location last year during one party. It’s a random appearance. We later saw Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket. We lined up for Jiminy, but they rotated while we were in line.
We met Cinderella and her Prince at 9:45 PM after a very short wait. She kept calling him “Charming.” She may find him charming, but he doesn’t actually have a name. We named Snow Prince “Henry,” but I need your help naming this guy. Maybe Cobbler or something since he has a fixation with shoes.
Romance pose. Young love!
Housewrecker! There’s someone coming between the happy couple. What will happen in the new Cinderella movie when the pirate is introduced to the drama???
This is the first time I had ever met Prince Phillip without a hat. Yes, he actually has a name. It’s a 50% deal with Prince names during the parties. Snow Prince “Henry” didn’t wear a hat either.
Careful, she’ll sleep all day and get nothing done around the castle!
The dragon slayer and the narcoleptic. They are a lovely couple though.
We circled around gathering some candy and checking on character lines and decided to meet Jafar in Town Square because he had a very small line.
I explained to Jafar that we only booed him at the Villains event because we were waiting for Oogie Boogie and we had just met him at Character Palooza. He seemed satisfied with the explanation and he would preferred to meet Oogie too.
He looks happy to hang out with me, right?
My buddy Rob and I found the Tremaines in Town Square. They weren’t allowed to form a line, but seemed to do a pretty good job keeping track of who was next to meet. I asked Lady Tremaine what kind of dowry she would offer for my 14 year old son. She asked how many castles he owns. I told her he has his own bedroom and a nice Jimmie Johnson autograph car collection. She seemed more interested in castles for some reason. I told her we had spent enough at Disney World to purchase a few castles already!
Drizella was looking a beautiful as ever. She isn’t bad, she’s just portrayed that way in the movie. She requested a re-write on the script, but Walt wasn’t having it. “Reality” television isn’t what it appears to be.
Blueberries
If you see these awesome peeps in the parks, be sure to say hello and be nice to them. They work hard, often in difficult situations to see to it that you can meet your favorite characters and keep those characters safe as well. Please, “Have your autograph books open to a clean page and have your photopass ready.”
After we met those characters and chatted with some character attendants, we took our spot in Town Square to watch the second parade.
We caught the Creepa Crew again a second time. This bunch has really grown on me. I didn’t really care for it last year, but actually enjoyed the group with Phineas and Ferb. I saw lots of little kids dancing and having fun.
The parade begins…errr ends. Honestly, this is a terrific place to catch the Headless Horseman, but I prefer Liberty Square turn. Another favorite spot is castle hub turn. The floats slow down in the turns and allow the characters to perform more.
Donald says hi!
Christopher Robin. He never meets guests :( He kinda looks like Quinn Roseboom from the Attractions Show.
Pirates!
How does one secure this job?
Ahoy good Captain!
After marching the entire route, this couple looks dead tired!
Looks like the Hitchhiking ghosts finally caught a ride to get some gas for their doombuggy.
Howdy y’all. Yes, it’s the correct spelling of y’all. It’s not ya’ll. That would make it a contraction of ya and all, but it’s a contraction of you and all or y’all. Trust me, I’m from Alabama and lived in Texas.
othing like a deadly rock band on wheels. Oh, that’s Rockin Roller Coaster, isn’t it?
Pain and Panic are back from their one night gig at Hollywood Studios. Keep them caged! They create all kind of parking, merchandise and character line chaos.
I think she was doing “Thriller”
Construction inspection specialist Mr. Wolf
Shadowman boogeying down. Get it Boogey :)
I got ZERO candy pops at this location! I’m moving back to Frontierland next time. I took home a dozen last year!
Looks like a short line for Jack and Sally at 10:35. NOT!
Photo of Main Street while I head to the Castle to watch the Villains Mix and Mingle.
The Villains arrive!
Dr. Facilier and his minions are in charge of this brief party. I read that they are now using the giant projectors on the castle during this show too. Nice addition.
A moment of laughter from the shadowman
I liked the floaty ghost thing in the background.

Your pictures will look like this or worse, if you don’t use flash!
Fill flash. Better, right?
Arrrr! Captain Hook was the only character I tried to meet. The lines were really long for the characters, even for the last show. Guests had formed a queue to meet Maleficent before the show even started and they weren’t having any line jumpers in that line!
Pirates of the Caribbean was looking awesome for the party
I had to end the party with a ride on the Haunted Mansion. I love seeing the bulters and maids in costume for the party.
The line was closed for Jack and Sally when we passed at 12:23 AM, but this is how long the line was still at that time! If you don’t want to waste the 1.5 hours during the party, line up at 5:30 PM and use all 5 hours for other things. The line for the Dwarves appeared to be shortest around the time of the Fireworks and second parades according to my friends who were there. Overall, my friend Rob and I had a great time and did the things we really wanted to do and gathered a couple bags of candy. I don’t see the need to go all the way to the Splash Mountain candy trail this year though. There were fewer candy spots and no characters in the area.
