Character Palooza ususally goes on hiatus during the winter months, but it appears that it will return soon. I received the following information from my source that’s close to Character Palooza at Hollywood Studios:
Beginning January 6th, Fantasmic! Area Sets (Character Palooza as we know it) are being scheduled.
With Fantasmic! beginning at 7:00 pm, the sets are likely to be held at 2:30, 3:30 and 4:30 pm. All three sets should be held on Streets of America, but all entertainment is subject to change without notice.

Thanks for the update! We did CP in October 2012 and met so many characters...so I was disappointed that during this trip they were supposed to be on hiatus. However, I heard about this post from another guest at Animal Kingdom and today we caught the 3:25 set. In appearance: Mary Poppins with Penguin, Pinnochio, Green Army Man, Pocahontas & Meeko, Mr. Smee, Captain Hook, Aladdin & Jasmine, Snow White & The Queen. They were only out for about 30 minutes. Again, thanks for keeping us updated! The characters are one of my favorite parts of Disney!

Can you tell me exactly where to be? I'd like to be waiting a few minutes before the characters arrive. We will be in hs on the 28th and is love to see this!
