The zombiepocalypse has begun! The sky is falling! The British are coming! Paper Fastpass is gone! Well, going soon anyway. Beginning January 14, the Magic Kingdom will join the Animal Kingdom in becoming a Fastpass+ ONLY park. From January 14, 2014 onward the Magic Kingdom will no longer offer Legacy or paper Fastpass machines within the park. Can I park hop with Fastpass+?
Guests must choose ONLY one park in which to use Fastpass+. There is no park hopping with this technology, which seems like a huge mistake to me. Why would one invest the extra couple hundred bucks for their family to park hop and not be able to use Fastpass+? I suppose one could rope drop one park and hop to the park they plan to use the Fastpass+.
For the time being Hollywood Studios and Epcot continue to offer paper Fastpasses, but I expect to be eliminated by the end of January as well.

I booked my FP+ selections last night for our trip in May. There were a couple things that I thought about and wanted to check with someone who's been through this.
1. Are the FP's on your wrist bands? 2. If they are, do you have to use your own wrist band to use the FP? Like could I use my daughter's band if she decides not to ride? 3. If you request a rider switch when you enter on a FP+, does the other person have to prove they have a FP to get one? And does the rider switch allow more than one person to ride on that second ride? 4. As an Annual Passholder & DVC member, is there anything that I should be getting that I might not know about? I read somewhere that APs get double the FP's?
Thanks for taking the time to help me out. We had the old system down to a tee so my family is freaking out about the new system.
