Good evening peeps! I spent about 4 hours walking around Epcot today to bring you high quality photos and in depth commentary. It was a beautiful day with the high in the 70’s. Feels like San Diego!
Daisy Duck is the new greeter for the Flower and Garden Festival. She has her garden filled with “Fresh Epcot.” By the way, the Festival begins tomorrow and runs until like 2026 or something.
Donald and his nephews are on the back side of the opening garden area. My daughter would love some watermelons in our yard guys!
Here’s the Donald I’ll vote for President. Duck #1!
Some things work well in 3’s, like Steph Curry or Currywurst in Germany.
World famous backside of Spaceship Earth or the “big golfball thing” as tourist love to call it. “You mean there’s a ride in there?”
Butterflies are beside Club Cool with the Butterfly garden behind. It will open tomorrow. High security plants were guarding the poor butterflies.
Chip n Dale are on one side of the center topiary piece. It’s located behind the dancing water fountain. 14 people were waiting to have photos made with jumping water, while zero were taking photos of chipmunk topiaries. “Why we can’t have nice things!” I could turn my sprinkler on in the yard and we could all come over for a photo shoot!
Backside of the Chipmunks garden area is Ranger Mickey. Guy beside me was trying hard to place the “ball” in Mickey’s open hand.
I just focused on the Mickster.
Purdy with transportation added.
Hey, Ferb, what are we doing today? I think we’ll stand here and pose for photos. Located off to the side of the Chipmunks and Mickey along the bridge from Future World to World Showcase.Minnie and Pluto greet you as you arrive in World Showcase. I was way out of photo range from Photopass off to the left when the Photopass guy shouted, “Can you get out of the photo, these people paid for Memory Maker?” I politely moved out of his too widely focused photo. It’s like when the tourist takes an iPhone photo of someone about 42 feet away so they can get the entire background object in view. Have you ever tried kneeling a bit?
At least Pluto was happy to see me. (Dejected)
La Isla Fiesta is on the left of the end of the bridge heading toward Mexico. If you need menus, I posted that on February 21. I’ve included all the prices on Character Locator, but haven’t updated that post yet.
You need another monorail shot right? I think this is one of the best and least used family photo spots. But what do I know, all my family photos have Mickey or Disney Santa in them.
Pineapple Promenade. Perfect excuse to service Dole Whips. I want a Dole Whip with vanilla ice cream on top. May have to order the Cronut next door, and slip the ice cream into my Dole Whip.
Bambi and the gang have returned to the same spot in Canada.
Pooh characters moved down between Canada and United Kingdom. I like the location better.
Piglet is taking Eeyore for a ride. Not exactly rodeo fodder there.
Rabbit has been out more lately in Magic Kingdom.
It’s bouncing time, but I miss Christopher Robin’s room.
Peter Pan is now on top of the building. In my last topiary report, he hadn’t been installed.
OMG! Kenny, Mary Poppins is gone from Epcot! Received that email recently. Well, take heart, she is just hiding from you. She sometimes meets near the band stand. I like the flower background better than a brownstone stoop.
Fleur de Lys or however you spell it. France kiosk, okay!
Belle is hanging out with the best guy she could find in her town. Small town living has it’s upsides, but can have its issues too. Funny story…woman wants man to hurry up to get ice cream. Guy says he’ll meet her in Italy, then sits down at this fountain. Did he think this is Italy?
Remove Princess Aurora from meet and greets and then insult her with Cinderella topiaries. How rude!
Wow, they will be dancing for a LONG time!
Why is “Florida Fresh” located between France and Morocco?
It is pretty though. I’ll ask for the truck when they are done and turn it into a Character Locatormobile
Japan didn’t want to be left out.
Smokehouse is ready to sell some smoked meats in America. We’re Mericuns, we like sum smoked meat!
I stopped to listen to the Voices of Liberty in the American Gardens theater. Amazing! I just love hearing them sing and they were doing more pop stuff than liberty based songs like they do inside the pavilion.
Germany is ready to sell things covered in sauerkrautt. I can’t stand the stuff personally, but to each his own.
Simba and the gang returned to the Outpost area.
Reminds me of the time my brother held his baby over his head. Didn’t turn out too well.
Across the way you’ll find Pumba and timon. Stupid t key! I hate the letter t.
Mulan was displaced due to construction at the temple. She was smart, she stood in the shade. She had a long line.
A really long line. Peeps, we don’t put those tips on Character Locator just because we have nothing to do.
Lotus House is ready to serve similar food to what you’ll receive in the restaurant across the way. Never a way in that place. Let me know what you think of this place.
She’s always enchanting me to take her photo. Darn you magical Elsa!
Construction continues on the future home of Anna and Elsa. Still a long way to go.
Hola! Ole! Rapido! I just used up my Spanish vocabulario. Located along the water past Mexico.
I know you were demanding more artistic monorail photos, so I oblige.
Lightning and Mater are still getting “geared up” in their area near Mouse Gear.
A play area!!! Let’s do timed laps down the slide or full obstacle course.
Buzz is ready for his mission to Mars, just as soon as he can escape the neighbor’s bedroom, the toy store and the daycare. Where will he escape next?
Monorail now has a Zootopia wrap. Zootopia is being seriously propped by the Disney “media” crew. I sure hope it’s actually the best animated feature in 20 years or at least since December.
Festival Center is located between Ellen’s Sleep Adventure and Mission Vomit. Usually they offer classes on growing flowers and turning them into delicious salads with chicken and a nice vinaigrette.
A little area near Innoventions East touts the importance of a quality sprinkler system. Where’s the info on how to keep your family from running over the sprinkler head with the car tire?
Diver in Seas pavilion was teaching us not to throw plastic bags on the ground or in water by bringing a plastic bag into the water. Kids said, “Oh that’s cool. Looks like a Jellyfish.”
Performing arts stage got a new name and some plants.
Otherside of the butterfly garden. I’ll need to return for 600+ photos of butterflies for my next in depth report.
Well, I’m tired from thinking of every possible way not to begin a sentence with the letter t, so enjoy the Flower and Garden Festival and all the rest of the topiaries are on this post from a couple weeks ago.

I adore the photo of the monorail with Spaceship Earth in the background. We are going in June and I would really love to get a photo like this. Where exactly did you stand to get this shot? This is our 1st visit. Thanks
