Once Upon a Time projection show to replace Celebrate the Magic at the Magic Kingdom

Once Upon a Time projection show to replace Celebrate the Magic at the Magic Kingdom

Celebrate the Magic has been a staple form of nighttime entertainment at the Magic Kingdom for about 4 years, with only a few tweaks here and there.  Coming soon the Magic Kingdom will offer a new show that will be called “Once Upon a Time.”

Borrowing from the nighttime show at Tokyo Disney, the Magic Kingdom will begin offering this show on November 4, 2016.

This show will feature Mrs. Potts telling bedtime stories to little Chip which will take them on a magical adventure through classic Disney films like “Cinderella,” “Peter Pan,” “Alice in Wonderland” and “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.”

Fly over Neverland with Peter Pan, enjoy a fun tea party with the Mad Hatter and Alice and watch the struggle between Gaston and Beast.  The finale will feature more classic Disney films.

Celebrate the Magic will end its run on November 3 and Once Upon a Time will begin on November 4.  It will always appear 15 minutes before the evening fireworks and should last around 10 minutes.

Here’s the Celebrate the Magic show that has the special Halloween additions to give you an idea what the show is like.
