Yuletide Celebration Debuts Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer® and Friends in Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland!

The annual holiday tradition, Christmas Town™, returns to Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay with more than two million twinkling lights, festive treats, holiday entertainment and unique attractions, including the all-new addition of the beloved Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The popular event takes place on 23 select dates from Nov. 25 to Dec. 31, with fan-favorite entertainment and new twists:

Meet and take photos with Rudolph, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius and Bumble at the all-new Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland located in Celestial Crossing. Play holiday games and indulge in Yuletide treats while scenes of the beloved story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer come to life.

The Claus family invites you into their North Pole home at Santa’s House presented by Coca-Cola®. While the elves are busy preparing for Christmas, Santa is taking a break from his busy holiday schedule to meet and take photos with families in his private study.

With the flip of a switch, Busch Gardens’ most familiar sights will transform into a holiday wonderland adorned with more than two million twinkling lights. With a different theme in every realm, guests can marvel at the jewel-toned Celebration Village, the Floridian flare of Enchanted Flamingo Valley, the classic décor of Holiday Hills and more.

Mistletoe Memories
Sneak a kiss with your sweetheart in the beautiful garden walkway of Mistletoe Memories. Here, romantic flowers and sparkling white twinkle lights fill the trees overhead and set the scene for sweet moments with loved ones and beautiful photos worth cherishing.

Ice Wonder Way
Family and friends will cozy up to brave the chill in the air along Ice Wonder Way. The frozen pathway sparkles and shimmers in the night as a live angel sculpture welcomes guests and brilliant white garland wraps the front of the Moroccan Palace, home to the Christmas on Ice show.

Jungle Jubilee
Larger-than-life nutcrackers, exotic decorations and intricate animal patterns create the kind of Christmas found only in nature! Stretching along the Cheetah Hunt® walkway, Jungle Jubilee welcomes guests to Florida’s only triple-launch coaster and the iconic Serengeti Overlook Restaurant and Pub, featuring special holiday fare and the Carol of the Bells light show.

Miracle Way
Set along the Stanleyville Bridge, warm white ambience of Miracle Way greets you with hundreds of Christmastime lanterns, angel-lined walkways and perfect photo opportunities. Marvel at the awe-inspiring glow of Christmas lights, sacred holiday music and Three Wise Men sculptures.

Enchanted Flamingo Valley
When it’s warm in December and there’s more sand than snow, celebrate a Floridian Christmas with a touch of the tropics in the Enchanted Flamingo Valley. Guests will be tickled pink as they encounter decorated palm trees and a flock of festive flamingos created from thousands of twinkling pink lights.

Poinsettia Parkway
Poinsettia Parkway blooms with hundreds of traditional holiday flowers. Make a family memory with breathtaking pictures in front of an enormous tree made entirely of beautiful red poinsettias, or meet the enchanting Poinsettia Princess for the ultimate family photo opportunity.

Christmas Time Terrace
Journey into Jungala to see a nature-inspired Christmas, including a new tree light show in Christmas Time Terrace. A larger-than-life Christmas tree comes alive every ten minutes with spectacular dancing lights. The breathtaking light show on this 50-foot tree is the perfect place for this year’s family photo.

.   Thrill Rides at Night

Nestled between beautifully lit trees and roaring with excitement, some of the best views of Christmas Town can be found atop Florida’s top thrill rides, including the all-new family spin coaster, Cobra’s Curse™.

Guests can also expect the return of fan-favorite shows that ring in the season, including Christmas on Ice, Carol of the Bells light show and the Holiday Hills Brass Band.

Christmas Town is open until 10 p.m. on select dates and will close at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. For New Year’s Eve, the event will remain open until 1 a.m.

  1. When is Christmas Town?
    Christmas Town runs for 23 select dates from November 25 through December 31. Check out the calendar for details.

  2. Is Christmas Town all day?
    Guests will be able to enjoy Christmas theming throughout the holiday season beginning Nov. 25. Santa’s House presented by Coca-Cola and Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland will be open each Christmas Town event day at 2 p.m. Christmas Town transforms into a holiday wonderland of entertainment and special attractions, holiday shopping, festive treats and more than two million twinkling lights each event night at 6 p.m.

  3. What time is Christmas Town closing this year?
    Christmas Town is open until 10 p.m. with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day when the park closes at 8 p.m. On New Year’s Eve, Christmas Town will remain open until 1 a.m.

  4. In addition to Christmas Town exclusive attractions, what other attractions will remain open for the event?
    Guests can still experience thrill rides and attractions that are open during Busch Gardens’ normal operating hours, including select animal exhibits.

  5. Are motorized wheelchairs rented during the event?
    Yes. Motorized wheelchairs are rented during the event. Pricing is the same as daytime and Pass Members receive 10% discount.

  6. What if it rains? Will I get a rain ticket?
    Christmas Town continues rain or shine! No rain checks will be issued.

  7. I qualify for the “Waves of Honor” program. Can I use my free “Waves of Honor” admission for Christmas Town?
    Christmas Town qualifies for the Waves of Honor program because the event is included in park admission.

  8. Do I have to be part of a corporation to receive the group rate?
    Any group of 15 or more guests that purchase tickets in advance through group sales are eligible to receive the group discount. For more information, contact (866) 781-1333.

  9. What special offers do Pass Members receive during Christmas Town?

    Yes he will! Santa’s House presented by Coca-Cola®, will be open each day at 2 p.m beginning November 25th. The big man himself takes a break from his busy holiday schedule to meet and take photos with families in his private study
