Theme park hours extended for this busy Walt Disney World Marathon weekend

If you’re familiar with my website, you’ll know that over 6 months ago, I predicted Heavy to Insane crowd levels for this weekend. It’s the convergence of the end of Holiday travel and the Walt Disney World Marathon. There are other side factors for the prediction including smaller events at ESPN Wide World of Sports and the National Championship game in Tampa. With all that said, some of the theme park hours are increasing for this weekend.

• Hollywood Studios increased January 4 and 5 to 9pm closure.
• Magic Kingdom increasd January 5, 6 and 7 to 11pm closure.
