Review: Baby Groot Sipper Cup and Cupcake at Hollywood Studios

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 just hit theaters this week and Walt Disney World is now offering a limited-time Baby Groot Sipper Cup and a Baby Groot cupcake. Keep reading for a full review on both items.

Baby Groot seems to be an extremely popular character of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and guests are very excited that Star-Lord and Baby Groot are now meeting guests at Hollywood Studios. After meeting Star-Lord and Baby Groot the other day, Debbie and I decided to check out the Baby Groot Sipper that was being offered at multiple popcorn carts in Hollywood Studios.

The cup is being offered to guests for $12.75 and is served with a fountain beverage. It includes the removable straw and Baby Groot is attached to the lid of the “pot.” The bottom of the cup reads “I am Groot” in a fun font that matches the gray color of the cup. Groot’s arms are movable which makes it fun to have him do a little dance.

After a refreshing drink with our new Sipper, we decided we needed to try the new “Baby Groot Cookies ‘n Cream Cupcake” at Catalina Eddie’s off Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood Studios. This cupcake is currently being  offered for $5.99.

The cupcake is a cookies and cream based cake with cookies and cream icing. The icing is topped with crumbled cookies and little chocolate pieces that looks like colorful rocks. The cupcake is also topped with a chocolate shell containing some green icing made to resemble grass and a piece of white chocolate with a printed Baby Groot.
