Epcot is said to be replacing the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party with a new Frozen Ever After Dessert Party that will include exclusive ride access and a much higher price point.
Beginning in mid-July 2017, the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party will be offered on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays only. It will offer dessert selections, drink selections (including alcholic beverages) a reserved viewing area for Illuminations and one extra benefit.
Guests will be escorted onto the Frozen Ever After ride in Norway with no waiting. The viewing area for the fireworks should be in the general area of the Fastpass+ viewing section for Illuminations, you’ll then be escorted past Mexico on to Norway for your exclusive ride opportunity.
The cost for this new version will be $79 per adult and $47 per child. For comparison, the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party cost is currently $49 per adult and $29 per child. You’re basically paying $20-30 per person extra for the opportunity to ride Frozen Ever After.
Will you take advantage of this Frozen Ever After Dessert Party?

The small one saw me reading this so I guess we will be booking. quite like the idea of hanging around tho for the ride instead of the mass exodus for the bus and as PP says above the price is in same bracket as the other dessert parties. love that you always first on these things so thanks for the heads up.

I think the addition of the ride benefit is fantastic. Don't think Frozen is in my family's interest group, but I would imagine this would be a wonderful package for people who haven't yet been on Frozen Ever After. Price is the same as dessert parties WITHOUT rides, too, such as the Star Wars Galactic Spectacular, which we attended just two weeks ago and were actually rained out on. No Star Tours ride associated with that!
