Walt Disney World Entertainment for Fourth of July 2017

The Fourth of July will be celebrated throughout Walt Disney World with a variety of entertainment and exciting activities.  Check out this post to see what excitement is in store!

Magic Kingdom

If you’re in Magic Kingdom on July 3 and 4, stick around to watch “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” at 9 PM.  Many guests also enjoy watching from the Transportation and Ticket Center or Polynesian Beach.

Epcot

If you plan on visiting Epcot on July 4th, there are a few different things you should catch!

Characters.   Looking for characters with unique, 4th of July costumes? Stop in to the America Adventure Pavilion, in Epcot, from the noon to 5pm range. There’s a chance you may meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, or even Chip and Dale. Here’s some images of past 4th of July meets:

Concerts.  A special Fourth of July concerted will be hosted by The Voices of Liberty at the American Gardens Theater at 5:30, 6:45, and 8 PM. At this star-spangled event, The Voices of Liberty will be performing a cappella versions of historical Americana songs.

Fireworks. If you’re still around Epcot in the evening, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, starting at 9 PM, will have a special, extended finale dedicated to the  Fourth of July.

Grand Floridian

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is also hosting a special 4th of July celebration. From 7-8:30 PM, they will be hosting an All-American July 4th cookout.  The cookout will include: grilled steak and shrimp, hot dogs, baked beans, sides, plus specialty drinks, beer and wine. There will also be a live DJ and kids will be able to make 4th of July themed crafts.

For the All-American July 4th cookout, tickets will cost $120 plus tax for adults, and $59 plus tax for ages 3-11; gratuity is included. To make a reservation: call 407-WDW-DINE.

After dinner, head over to the Grand Floridian Marina for a view of the “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.
