Will Walt Disney World replace a Magic Kingdom attraction for the TRON Lightcycle Power Run roller coaster now found only in Shanghai Disneyland?
Many have been speculating that Walt Disney World would receive a TRON ride of its own. This speculation comes from talk of budgeting teams and executives from Orlando visiting Shanghai Disneyland.
Word around Disney is that Tomorrowland Speedway will be replaced by TRON Lightcycle Power Run in the Magic Kingdom. This change may be taking place in time to celebrate the Magic Kingdom’s 50th birthday.
The speculation is that Speedway may close in 2018 to make way for the new TRON roller coaster that could be opening around 2021.
Would you be excited to see the TRON Lightcycle Power Run in Walt Disney World?

Jarrett, this ride is going behind Space Mountain and getting its own building, without replacing another ride. It's going on the path right next to the Space Mountain gift shop
