The 2017 runDisney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend (presented by MISFIT) is just around the corner, and today, Disney released pictures of the medal designs! They follow a “travel around the world” theme with medals designed to look like a luggage tag, plane ticket, and passport. One might wonder why this theme matches the food and wine race. That is until you imagine the many countries around the world showcase that highlight food from their own culture. It’s like a culinary trip around the world! Here is a peek at the new designs to get you motivated for running to the end.

The Disney Fall Feast 5K is the first race of the weekend. It features a fun design celebrating the harvest season.

The Second race of the weekend is the Disney Wine & Dine 10K, and it’s medal is designed to look like a decorative luggage tag.
The Final race of the weekend will be the half marathon (13.1 mile). If you complete this race, you will receive a medal that looks like a plane ticket.
For those participants competing in the “Disney Two Course Challenge”, which comprises of the 10K and Half Marathon, they will receive a passport inspired medal. It includes “stamps” for the different countries around the world showcase.
Finally, for those under thirteen who are participating in the runDisney Kids Races (presented by GoGo squeeZ Applesauce), they will receive a medal designed with our favorite purple dragon, Figment!

I'm pretty disappointed in the half medal. I have nicer ones from local 5K races. Hopefully, the actual event is more exciting than the medals.

I'll take these, I think they are better than the Dark Side medals this year. It looked like a bunch of interns were in charge of all those designs.
