August 2018 Disney World Park Hours, Extra Magic Hours and Crowd Calendar released

If you’ve been waiting for the initial August 2018 Disney World park hours, you wait is over!  I’ve just completed by August 2018 Disney World Crowd Calendar with park hours, Extra Magic Hours and initial evening spectaculars.  I even do a little speculating on Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Epcot Food and Wine Festival 2018.  Here’s some details:

You’ll notice that the Festival of Fantasy Parade is listed for 3pm until August 19th when it returns to being a 2pm parade.  When someone asked “What time is the 3 ‘Oclock parade?” They will have a valid question!

Happily Ever After is performed nightly, except nights the park closes at 6pm, more on that later.  Fantasmic, Rivers of Light and Illuminations schedules are also provided.  Star Wars Fireworks at Hollywood Studios are not yet posted, but are usually added later anyway.

About those 6pm Magic Kingdom closures, I believe those are nights when Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will occur.  During the Christmas Party season 2017, they closed the park to non-party guests at 6:00pm and allowed only party guests with a valid wristband to enter the ride entry lines after 6:00pm.  Guests are allowed to stay and mingle on Main Street until 7:00pm, but are then encouraged to leave the park.

I also took a guess at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival beginning in late August based on Epcot park hours for that time frame.
