It’s only July, but Christmas is already on the mind in Walt Disney World. Disney officially announced the return of the holiday season that is set to begin November 8. It will include all the amazing holiday decor, the tasty festive treats and enchanting entertainment that makes the season special at Disney World.
Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will see the return of the popular Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam fireworks show and Sunset Seasons Greetings. Sunset Seasons Greetings will be “plussed” to include new laser effects.
Additionally, Alien Swirling Saucers will receive a new seasonal audio track full of holiday favorites. All holiday offerings in Hollywood Studios are scheduled for November 8 – January 6 and are currently listed on Character Locator to add to your touring plan. Note: Santa is supposed to begin November 10 and end on December 24. Santa Goofy will take over through December 31.
Magic Kingdom
The Magic Kingdom will experience its annual transformation into an enchanted holiday world. A Frozen Holiday Wish should return along with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party which is offered various nights in November and December. I would expect A Frozen Holiday Wish to begin November 6 or earlier.
Epcot
Epcot will continue with it’s holiday traditions with it’s annual Epcot International Festival of the Holidays on November 18 and the Candlelight Processional will begin November 22, 2018. A partial list of Candlelight Processional narrators and Candlelight Dining Package information was released recently.
Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom will offer the new Diwali, the holiday Festival of Lights. It will be in India as a part of the UP! A Great Bird Adventure
Disney Springs
Disney Springs will continue its annual tradition of holiday decor with the Christmas Tree Trail in the Marketplace area. You’ll also find Santa Claus and many opportunities to purchase many Christmas gifts for family and friends.
