Mobile Order Service Expands!

Mobile Order Service Expands!

Believe it or not, some people do have pet peeves about Disney World vacations. One of mine is waiting, and when you go to Disney World, let’s face it,  you are going to either have to just deal with it or you can avoid it all together or at least as much as possible if you know a few tricks.  One of them is mobile ordering.

Disney – Mobile order service is now available at more than 35 locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, Disney Springs and select Disney Resort hotels.  What exactly is mobile order service?  This service is available through the My Disney Experience app and lets you order ahead from anywhere and allows you to pick up your food and beverages when you are ready.  Think of all of the time you can save by not waiting in line for your food orders.

Here is a screenshot of the mobile ordering service.

“Over the past several months, we have expanded the mobile order service to even more Disney Resort hotel dining locations, including Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, The Artist’s Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, the Riverside Mill Food Court at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.”

Ordering food is quick and easy and you can do it all from your phone.  Select your entrees or other food selections, customize your order(s) and pay!  Once you are at the restaurant, you let them know you are there through the app and they begin preparing your order and you will receive a notification when it’s ready.  All that is left to do is to find a seat and enjoy.

Have you used Disney’s mobile order service yet? What do you like or not like about it? Where will you order from first?

I wish they would allow you to pay with gift cards or charge to your room instead of charging your credit card immediately.

I agree Dianne. I also wanted to use gift cards to pay, and that was not an option.

Hoping that they get various discounts implemented into the ordering system when they apply!
