Review: Be Our Guest Dining at the Beast’s Castle

Review: Be Our Guest Dining at the Beast’s Castle

Ever wanted to dine with the Beast? At Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic kingdom you can! I’ve got a full review of my experience there.

The Beast meets guests at his castle for dinner.  He does not see guests for breakfast or lunch. When my family visited recently, the Beast was meeting guests prior to dining. In years past he had met guests after their meals were complete.

This was a nice change because it gave you something to do while you waited for your table. It was also nice because you knew you got to meet him versus him having a break when your family was ready to leave the restaurant.

We have not dined at Be Our Guest since the new prix fixe menu. This newer menu offers a beverage, appetizer, entree, and dessert for one price. If you are using the dining plan, this meal costs two table service credits. If paying out of pocket, children 3-9 years of age are $36 and adults ages 10 and up are $60 per person.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing. We dined in the ballroom, and it felt like we were dropped right into the castle. The food was plentiful and delicious.
I ordered the french onion soup for an appetizer. This soup was so yummy. People were not wrong when they said it was a must-order. My husband is a picky eater. He did not see anything that he would like for an appetizer. They were able to accommodate him by giving him a larger portion of the children’s iceberg wedge salad.
We both chose the center cut filet mignon for our entrees. This may have been the best steak we have had on Disney property!  Everyone in your party is given a trio of desserts. It is a nice tasting size of each dessert. The grey stuff really is delicious!

Even though it is not an all you care to eat setting, there was more than enough food. Our server was fantastic.  He added to our meal with conversation and knew the right amount of time to spend with our table. He gave great recommendations on the menu as well.
The atmosphere, food, and attention to detail from Cast Members made this restaurant on our must-do list again.

Bracelet given to us as we were leaving as we were not party guests

We dined on a Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party night. As we were not party-goers this night, upon leaving the restaurant they gave us these fluorescent yellow bracelets.  With the bracelets on, it was easy for Cast Members to tell we were not attending the party and should be making our way to the park exit.

This meal could fit seamlessly into your party plans or even a regular park day by using Character Locator. It is right in the middle of Fantasyland which is in the center towards the back of Magic Kingdom.

What do you think of the newer prix fixe menu? Will you be having dinner with Beast soon? Comment below to let me know?

Sorry, but did you mean CONVERSATION & not "He added to our meal with conservation?" If not, what did you mean by conservation? Just asking. Thanks

Thank you! I have fixed my typo, so sorry about that. He was fantastic and added great conversation to our meal. He spent the perfect amount of time, not too much and not too little!

We eat at BOG lunch and dinner several times a year and love the new pre fix menu . The only change that we have noticed is that they no longer fold the red napkins like a rose and that disappoints my wife. There's a special napkin ring at snow white dinner. Who knows how long that special detail will last.
