Are you longing for sunshine, relaxation, and tropical weather? If so, maybe a Disney Cruise is in your future! As of December 9, 2019, it looks like there are several special offers for many Disney Cruise Itineraries.
Note, some of these offers fall in the stateroom categories of Verandah Category with Restrictions (Category VGT) and Inside Category with Restrictions (Category IGT).
Okay, what does that mean? Basically, it means your stateroom will be assigned to you when you arrive at the ship. Your stateroom will be in the category you choose OR will be higher.
While booking one of these may seem uneasy, it IS a good way to save some money since staterooms for these cruises tend to be less than regular staterooms. I say, live a little and take the plunge! You might be surprised and even save yourself some money.
Guests can save 20% off rates by booking in the Verandah Category with Restrictions (Category VGT) on the following itineraries:
3-Night Very Merrytime Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral December 20, 2019 aboard Disney Dream
Enjoy the holiday season sailing on the beautiful Disney Dream and visiting Disney’s private island paradise of Castaway Cay, which is all decorated for the holidays! Swim, eat, shop and relax!
Onboard, there is also a wide range of holiday activities and magical holiday touches that are sure to be enjoyed! Think you like visiting the parks on land during the holidays? Try visiting them at sea too and see what you think!
From Disney’s Cruise Line website, prices are quoted as:
$999 per person, based on double occupancy. Taxes, Fees and Port Expenses of $67 per person not included.
7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral with Star Wars Day at Sea February 22, 2020 aboard the Disney Fantasy
Are the crowds at the parks just TOO much for you, now that Rise of the Resistance is open? Instead of waking up at the crack of dawn and waiting to join a boarding group, sleep in, relax and enjoy a week at sea on a Star Wars Day at Sea!
You may not get the thrill of Hollywood Studio’s new ride, BUT you can have all of the Star Wars fun, character meet and greets, and celebration onboard Disney’s Fantasy. You can read a full review of a cruise here to decide if one is right for you.
Ports of call include St. Thomas, Disney Castaway Cay, and Tortola.
$1,834 per person, based on double occupancy. Taxes, Fees, and Port Expenses of $96 per person not included.
7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral with Star Wars Day at Sea on February 29, 2020 aboard the Disney Fantasy
Ports of call for this cruise include Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Falmouth, Jamaica, and Disney Castaway Cay.
$1,687 per person, based on double occupancy. Taxes, Fees, and Port Expenses of $120 per person not included.
7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral March 7, 2020 aboard the Disney Fantasy
This is all of the fun of the above-mentioned Star Wars Day at Sea WITHOUT the Star Wars. If you are not a fan or feel that just isn’t for you, go on a regular cruise. It includes the same ports, cruise activities, dining and all of the fun you would expect! The ports of call remain the same.
I will say, however, that NOT being the biggest Star Wars fan myself, I LOVED it. Star Wars Day was only ONE day and in my opinion, it was well worth doing.
$1,960 per person, based on double occupancy. Taxes, Fees, and Port Expenses of $96 per person not included.
