Schedule for New Year's Eve Around the Disney Parks 2019

Headed to Disney for New Year’s Eve? You’ll want to know what is going on around the four Disney theme parks as we say goodbye to 2019 and usher in a new decade!

New Year's Eve Fireworks "Fantasy in the Sky" to be Live-Streamed December 31, 2019 and a Sneek Peek at What is to Come in 2020

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom will light up the night on December 30 and 31 with “Fantasy in the Sky” fireworks, plus celebration dance parties in Frontierland and Tomorrowland.

In case you missed it earlier, Disney Parks Live will be live-streaming “Fantasy in the Sky” on December 31 at 11:45 p.m. EST. Be sure to check it out if you can’t be at Disney for the start of 2020. They will also be highlighting some new things to come to the Disney Parks as well!

If you will be in Magic Kingdom for New Year’s Eve, make sure you know what to expect!

Epcot

Also, Epcot will celebrate the New Year as it moves around World Showcase.

Each international pavilion will offer a festive announcement when the clock strikes midnight in their country, and guests can enjoy live music at the America Gardens Theatre.

And when the clock strikes midnight (Eastern), guests can gather around World Showcase to catch “Epcot Forever,” plus a special countdown to 2020.

Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also celebrate starting at 7 p.m. on December 31 with a dance party at Center Stage.

Then, you can watch “Wonderful World of Animation” at 6:05 p.m., “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” at 6:30 p.m., and “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” just after midnight.

Animal Kingdom

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests can celebrate with specially-themed food and beverage. The park will also stay open until midnight and include a special countdown-to-midnight on the Tree of Life.

Guests can also participate in exclusive pin trading at various times during the day. This is unlike regular pin trading so be sure to check out our post with instructions for trading!
