The Guest check-in area located in the lobby of All-Star Music will undergo a several-month long refurbishment.
All-Star Music rooms are currently being renovated and updated, which is badly needed. The front lobby area will be receiving some of the love, too.
Once complete, Melody Hall will be enhanced for improved Guest experience, including an open layout. Several counters will also available for Guests to use.
There will be posted signage to aide Guests during their stay. Of course, Cast Members will also be available to help answer any questions.
If you want to skip the check-in process entirely, try mobile check-in! If you log into your My Disney Experience app on your mobile device, you will see the resort you are staying at and your dates.
You will also see the option to click “start check-in.” Then, it will prompt you to select the time you expect to arrive.
You can also choose to opt-out of Mousekeeping straight from the My Disney Experience app! This is a recent change that ensures you can skip the entire front lobby if needed!
While you’re checking in, it will prompt you to decide if you want to participate in the Service Your Way Program. By participating, you can decline standard housekeeping services in exchange for a Disney gift card.
These services include making beds, vacuuming, tidying the bathroom area, removing trash, changing linens, and replenishing towels and toiletries.
You will receive a $10 digital gift card (sent to your email) for every night you are the resort – excluding your first night. For example, if you are staying 5 nights you will receive a gift card for $40.
According to Orlando Parks News, construction at All-Star Music is set to begin on January 26 – this Sunday. Work is expected to last until April, although no set end date is known.
Will you be at All-Star Music during refurbishment? Are you going to mobile check-in? Let us know on the facebook page.
