Our favorite muppets will be back in Magic Kingdom for a limited time in February! The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History is returning!
Fans of the muppets were devastated to learn The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History show was ending back in October 2019 along with other entertainment options.
It was one of the few ways the muppets were represented in the parks. The other, Muppets*Vision 3D, is at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and currently undergoing refurbishment.
Great Moments in American History made a brief return for the busy holiday season back in December. Guests were delighted to learn they could enjoy the show once more!
The show features popular characters such as Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzy Bear, and Gonzo dressed in historic garbs. They put their own unique spin on two moments in United States History: the Story of Paul Revere’s Ride and the Signing of the Declaration of Independence.
According to Orlando Parks News, only the Story of Paul Revere’s Ride will show.
They present the tales with a charm that can only be captured by the Muppets!
The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History will return on Saturday, February 15 and run until Monday, February 17. These dates coincide with President’s Day, which is always a busy time at Disney World.
Be sure to check Character Locator for showtimes and to adjust your touring plans in case you want to see the show again. It will run at various times throughout the daytime at Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom. I always liked to watch Hall of Presidents and then find a spot under the tree to watch the muppets!
It seems as if The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History makes a comeback during the busy seasons. It’s possible we will continue to see the show during Spring Break, 4th of July, and other peak times!
Are you headed to Disney World for President’s Day? Will you go check out the muppets as they perform our favorite moments in American history? Let us know on the facebook page!
