Disneyland just announced it will be soon adding FastPass and MaxPass services to a couple of attractions!
We recently reported that Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run would become a FastPass option later this month at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This is great news for guests who want to try to experience the ride!
Disneyland also just announced that two attractions over on the West Coast will also be getting FastPass treatment.
You will soon see Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue! and Autopia pop up on My Disney Experience to grab a FastPass!
Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue!
Venture inside the Monstropolis Transit Terminal and hail a taxi cab for a tour of the town. As your journey begins, an emergency “special report” is unexpectedly broadcast inside your cab—a human child is loose in Monstropolis and must be caught!
Help friendly monsters Mike and Sulley as they race to return little girl Boo safely to her home.
Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue! is located in Hollywood Land at California Adventure park.
Autopia
Autopia is Disneyland’s version of Tomorrowland Speedway at Disney World. Interestingly, Autopia is the only existing Tomorrowland attraction dating back to Disneyland Park’s opening day in 1955.
Additionally, if you have purchased MaxPass, both attractions will be available for the service as well!
No word on when these two attractions will be added to FastPass and MaxPass, but we will keep you posted when we know!

You wait 10 minute for one ride with fastpass and 60 for another without it instead of waiting 35 for each ride. I would rather the wait times be even. Riding a ride after 10 minutes is instant gratification and feels good at the time, but the 60 minute wait for something else is too much and erases all the good feelings from the 10 minute wait.

I don't wait, because I use Fastpass, so I love the system the way it currently is laid out.

Fastpass destroyed Disney for me. All the lines are twice as long because of fastpass. For every 20 people on regular standby line 80 ppl with fastpass wo cut them. So if you have 100 people on line, you really have 500 in front of you. It's such a bad idea. The lines wouldn't be that bad if there was no fastpass. It just made things worse.
