I always get very sad and emotional when I hear of the different meet and greets that will be leaving the parks, especially when the announcement is quite sudden and fast approaching.
Last week we received the news that Mike Wazowksi would likely no longer meet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This morning, we received the closing date of the fan-favorite from Pixar’s “Monster’s Inc.” film.
Beginning, Sunday February 23rd, Mike Wazowski, one of many beloved characters from Monster’s Inc. will no longer be meeting at Hollywood Studios in its location inside Walt Disney Presents.
The meet and greet will only feature James P. Sullivan, better known by his nickname- Sulley. No information was provided whether Mike Wazowski will meet in another location, park, or at a different time.
Although they had met years back in the parks, their current meet and greet location first began at Walt Disney Presents back in 2019.
Although there is no direct Meet and Greet for the Monster’s Inc friends at Disneyland, guests are able to enjoy the Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue! attraction located inside Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventures.
And over at Magic Kingdom, guests are also able to enjoy Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.
Guests are now in luck as they are able to enjoy the attraction with little wait as it was announced recently that the attraction has now been included in the Disneyland Resort Fast Pass and Max Pass system!
I know it is not the same, but it’s better than not being able to see the monster crew at all!
If you are a Monster’s Inc, Mike Wazowski fan, you have until, Saturday, February 22, 2020 to take a final selfie and monster hug with the dynamic duo friendship.
Are you as sad as I am that Mike Wazowski will no longer be meeting for a meet and greet? What are your feelings? Let us know on Kenny the Pirate’s Facebook page or join our crew and continue the discussion there.

This makes no sense to me. It's like getting rid of Sadness and keeping Joy. If they're going to keep one (and I'm glad they're keeping Sulley), why not keep both?! They're a pair. Why not keep them together?! Maybe they're not having to pay that extra person but I don't like it.
