Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will begin offering FastPass and MaxPass at Disneyland resort soon! Read on for more details on the FastPass system at Disneyland.
While there is no start date given for Disneyland’s addition of Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run to the Disneyland Fastpass and Max Pass system, we do know that the ride has been added to Disney World Fastpasses beginning Feburary 19, 2020.
I had a Fastpass+ booked for it at Walt Disney World for my March trip, but I decided to drop it for Mickey Minnie Runaway Railway once it was announced that those were available. It’s a tough choice for tier-one rides at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but I decided to go for the one I haven’t experienced yet!
As for our friends over on the West Coast, Disneyland has been beefing up its FastPass offerings by recently adding two classic attractions to the list of options!
FastPasses at Disneyland are booked on the day of your visit. The optional paid MaxPass allows guests to book their FastPasses from their mobile device rather than run around the park to reserve them like we all remember doing almost a decade ago at Walt Disney World.
Because FastPasses at Disneyland are not able to be prebooked, it is possible that the FastPass option for Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will just pop up one day without an announcement. So if you’re traveling to Disneyland soon, keep an eye out.
With the price increases that occurred today for tickets and annual passes at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, there was also an increase in the price for the MaxPass. Maxpass is now $20 per day per guest (up from $15), and the add on for Annual Passholders at Disneyland for MaxPass is now $125 rather than $120. Traditional FastPasses are still free with admission.
