Price Increases on Disney World VIP Tours

Price Increases on Disney World VIP Tours

This last week has seen several price increases for the Disney Parks. Most recently, we learned of a price increases on Disney World VIP tours. Read on to see the changes.

After a price increase on tickets, annual passes and the Disneyland Max Passes, we are now seeing the prices of private VIP tours at Walt Disney World go up as well.

Disney World offers a variety of VIP tours, from the more affordable semi-private tours, such as the Ultimate Day of Thrills ($349 per person), all the way up to more expensive totally private tours.

From Disney’s site, guests enjoy the Ultimate Day of Thrills tour on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

Some guests who are visiting the parks like to live it up with their own private tour guide, who can escort them in to the Fastpass+ line of (almost) any attraction. The pricing for this type of tour varies by season.

Select VIP tours include a visit to Pandora in Animal Kingdom

Previously, pricing ranged from $425-$600 an hour for a private tour guide. It seems that high season pricing (think Christmas vacation) has gone up by $150 to an eye-popping $750 per hour.

Private VIP tours must be booked for a minimum of 7 hours and you can include up to 10 guests. According to my math, that would mean that a private VIP tour on New Years Day would be around $525 per person for a 7 hour experience if you had the maximum number of guests.

I can perhaps see doing this for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Walt Disney World. As an Annual Passholder with a Character Locator subscription, we never miss any of the attractions that we want to experience with minimal effort on my part!
