Prices for Minnie Van service to and from the airport have increased, and the hours of operation for the service have extended as well.
Minnie Vans are the adorable polka dot vehicles that take you to and from various places around Disney World. They are a fun treat, but they can also be really expensive.
Minnie Vans have a few extra perks like being operated by a Disney World Cast Member. Guests are also dropped off with the busses at Magic Kingdom instead of at the Ticket and Transportation Center or Contemporary Resort like other ride-sharing services.
Minnie Vans Price Increase
Minnie Vans also transport guests to and from Orlando International Airport. The Minnie Van airport service used to be priced at $150 one way. Effective immediately, the price is now $155.
Service to and from Port Canaveral for Disney cruises has also raised in price. The Minnie Van Port Canaveral service has increased from $240 to $249.
The above prices do not include gratuity, which is recommended for exceptional service.
The pricing for Minnie Vans around the Walt Disney World is still variable based on mileage. Your rate will vary based on how far your Minnie Van travels to take you to your destination.
Minnie Van Airport Service Hours Extended
With this price increase also comes an additional perk. Minnie Van airport service will now operate from 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Previously, the service ended at 10 p.m. This is a full two hours of additional service.
Other Price Increases
This is just the latest in a wave of price increases that Disney has recently implemented.
Annual Passes, Park Hopper tickets, dessert parties, VIP tours, MaxPass, and character meals have all raised in price over the last few weeks. You can see the full details for all increases by clicking on the red hyperlinks.

We used the airport service on our way TO Disney but used the Magical Express to return to the airport. I think the price is ridiculous but, at the time and for a specific reason, it was the best transport for us under the circumstances. A $5 increase isn't a huge difference, but in the grand scheme of things and with other price increases, I'm not sure if I would use airport service again unless I had a specific need for it again. It's not something I would do frivolously. I would rather spend that money in the park(s). In fact, that would cover the cost of a character meal for my daughter and I!
