Disney-Themed Easter Baskets for All Ages!

Disney-Themed Easter Baskets for All Ages!

Easter is coming up in just two weeks! I have brainstormed and compiled some ideas for fun baskets for children of all ages.

Hard to believe in the middle of the craziness, Easter is sneaking up on us! You may be like me and totally forgot about it. Usually, I run to the store and pick up candy and little knick-knacks, but I won’t be doing that this year because we are staying home as much as possible!

However, we are likely canceling our late April/early May trip, and I want to have some special baskets to help my kiddos not feel so yucky about missing our trip.

shopDisney to the rescue! All of the items found below can be found on the shopDisney website. I have broken these ideas up into age ranges:

  • birth to 2 years old
  • 3 to 5 years old
  • 6 to 10 years old
  • 11 and up

For each age, I’ll share some of the items I found in STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Math), swim, park essentials, books, and more. Let’s see what shopDisney has got for us!

Birth to 2 years old

If you are planning a beach vacation or will be hanging out at the resort pools this summer, make sure baby is enjoying the water with protective headwear and footwear!

The hat is $14.99 and shoes (there are a few more color options) are $12.99.

If your family is hoping to go to Disney this spring or summer (depending on when Disney reopens), you can grab your Mickey hat or a Minnie headband for your little one.

The headband is priced at $7.95, and the ear hat is $17.99. Unfortunately, the ear hat cannot be personalized.

I love building a strong library for my kids, especially when they are babies. These adorable books are just the thing to get your baby started. As an added bonus, they CAN be personalized!

The books start at $24.99 and personalization costs NOTHING!

How cute are these Mickey and Minnie bunny plush toys?! These would make a sweet keepsake with the year on the foot. Or if you prefer Stitch, pick up our favorite alien instead.

I am loving the price on these. They are marked down from $22 to $12!

Ages 3 to 5

3 to 5 years old is my favorite age range. Their creativity is endless! This Fancy Nancy craft set allows your little one to make headbands – O la la!

Priced at $16, this will keep your young one entertained during social distancing.

Swim goggles are a must for new swimmers! These fun Disney-themed ones would complete your child’s swim outfit.

These are all reasonably priced at $7.99. Check out the Ariel ones HERE.

Autograph books are necessary for young ones meeting their favorite characters in the parks! There are several DIY options, but shopDisney also sells ones that can be found in the parks.

Prices range from $9.99 to $19.99.

I love putting books in Easter baskets. Some of the age-appropriate ones I found also had a read-along CD!

The nursery rhyme book is priced at $10.99, which is very reasonable.

There are many different character play sets on shopDisney! I love gifting these to my kids because they are cheap ($10 marked down from $15!) and provide hours of playtime. They love to mix the play sets together and create new universes.

Be sure to shop around the website; there are so many of these!

Ages 6 to 10

Your kids think they are knocking down dominoes, mom and dad know they are being creative and learning about physics, math, and strategy. This Disney-themed dominoes set even includes Mickey heads!

It is priced at $12.99 and is perfect for 6 to 10 year olds.

I absolutely hate carrying all the swim stuff around for my kids. Take the stress off you and teach them responsibility at the same time! They can put their goggles, snacks, and pool toys inside.

These swim bags would also make the perfect Easter basket! Then, you could fit everything else inside it.

The Lilo and Stitch swim bag only costs $14.99.

If you want to get your kid started on collecting pins to trade in the parks, pick up a starter set with the lanyard and assortment of pins.

You can also add to the collection with countless pins that are available on shopDisney! Prices range from $9.99 to $32.99 for the Star Wars starter set.

There were countless books for this age range. Instead of trying to gather up some suggestions, just know that there is everything in every price range.

I did want to share a special promotion that shopDisney is running right now. Buy a book on shopDisney by March 31 and Disney will donate a new book to First Book, a nonprofit organization providing books to educators serving children in need.

Along with books, there is an endless supply of toys for 6 to 10 year old kids. I found this cool Star Wars LEGO set for $14.99.

11 years and up

It can definitely be hard to come up with Easter basket ideas for older kids. There is a lot of National Geographic stuff on shopDisney that I think would fit the bill.

This slime putty set is a little pricey at $29.99, but there are a lot of different options to keep your child occupied.

Your older kid may need some new beach stuff now that he or she is getting older. Maybe an updated beach towel that reflects their new interests and some new flip flops is just the thing to add to their basket.

Most towels are $15 and can be personalized for $5.95.

Disney has released many new Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse headbands lately! From the popular light-up balloon ears to the Runaway Railway ears, your tween or teen would love a pair to wear at Disney World.

You may have to head to the adult section of books to find something for your older child. I found a Descendents novel and Star Wars novel in my search.

Note that I have not read these and do not know if they are age-appropriate.

What tween or teen is not into Baby Yoda right now? While the plush is not expected to ship until early June, you can find the animatronic version for $60. No big deal, right? So I may have said “no way!” at first, but I may actually get this for my oldest. I think he would love it!

Fun for the whole family

Don’t forget about the mystery Easter eggs or Parks food wishables! You can pick up a set for each kiddo to bring it all together. There are also so many cookbooks and kitchen items if you want to do some cooking together this Spring!

Don’t forget Easter is just two weeks away! Do your shopping now so it arrives in time. If you spend over $75, shipping is free with promo code SHIPMAGIC.

I hope I’ve given you some ideas for Disney-themed Easter baskets! Let me know what you’re putting in your child’s basket over on KennythePirate’s facebook page!
