I recently received a notification from the My Disney Experience app that said to check out their new video called “Now You’re Cooking.” This new series on the app shares some more amazing park treat recipes for you to make with the family. I love that Disney is sharing ways for us to bring the magic of the theme parks into our home when we are far away from “home.”
The Disney Parks Blog recently shared with us the recipe on how to make Disney Parks Churros, which got me so excited! Some of you have already made them and shared with us your creations, which I love!
I have been waiting and watching to see if they would provide a recipe to make Dole Whips at home and they finally have!
The Dole Whip has recently seen many different flavor variations throughout the parks. I personally love the lime dole whip at Storybook Treats and you could probably play around with this recipe to come up with different flavors if you want to get really creative.
The recipe shared on the My Disney Experience app is for the original pineapple dole whip flavor and seems pretty easy to make. The video takes you through the step by step process and only takes about 30 seconds to watch.
Here is how to make your very own Dole Whip at home!
Ingredients:
1 large scoop of vanilla ice cream
- 1 large scoop of vanilla ice cream
- 4oz of pineapple juice
- 2 cups of frozen pineapple
Tools:
- 1 blender
- 1 piping bag
Directions:
Add all ingredients to the blender.
Blend until smooth.
Fill a piping bag with dole whip mixture and swirl into a bowl or cone.
Enjoy!
I can’t wait to try this recipe out for myself! I love dole whips when I visit the parks, and now I don’t have to wait until they reopen!
The last slide of the video says to check back for more Disney Parks recipes, so I can’t wait to see what other delicious treats will be coming soon!
