Disneyland Paris opened on April 12, 1992 and just recently celebrated its 28th anniversary. In honor of this anniversary, Disneyland Paris is offering special viewing options for guests to enjoy the beauty of this park. The best part is that no passport is required to experience all of the magic of this European park.
Celebrating 28 Years of Magic
This past Sunday, April 12, 2020, Disneyland Paris shared a video highlighting 28 years of magic. We see the evolution of what was once Euro Disney in 1992, to Disneyland Paris in 1994, and now the present beauty of this park.
Disneyland Paris is hosting “Watch Parties” for us to all be able to experience the magic of this beloved park even during this time of social distancing.
Disneyland Paris Illuminations
Last week we shared that each week the Disneyland Paris facebook page would offer polls and interactions for guests to share their favorite attractions, characters, and more.
Last week, a poll was posted for guests to vote between 2 great entertainment options. Guests were able to vote for either Disney Stars on Parade or Illuminations.
Illuminations was the overwhelming winner and guests around the globe were able to grab their Mickey ears and popcorn to enjoy this great nighttime show.
This week guests are asked to post pictures of their favorite princess or prince. It is so much fun to connect with fellow Disney fans and relive happy moments from all of the Disney Parks.
“Once Upon A Time” Video Series
Disneyland Paris is a unique park in that on opening day it featured many of the timeless fairy tales that Walt Disney brought to life.
We are now able to join Laurent Cayuela, a Disney Imagineer, as he shares how they used the magic and fantasy of Walt Disney in creating Fantasyland.
There are also 29 additional videos similar to this for guests to join Imagineer Laurent Cayuela to learn the development of the following attractions. You can find all of the videos here.
This is such a great way to bring home a bit of the Disney Magic. Also, be sure to check out these great ways to experience the Disney Magic at home such as
- Farewell show of Fantasmic from Tokyo Disney Sea
- Magic Happens Parade from Disneyland
- Adventure through Disney’s Animal Kingdom with an Imagineer
- STEAM lessons from the Rock n’ Roller Coaster
- Enjoy peaceful scenes from the Walt Disney World Parks
- Enjoy JAMMing with the JAMMitors of Epcot
Please share your memories if you have visited Disneyland Paris or what you have most enjoyed from this new “Once Upon A Time” video series. Please share these on our KtP Planning Group or on our Facebook Page.
