Special events like Disney After Hours and Early Morning Magic along with dining reservations are no longer available to book in June. Full details below.
After news yesterday that room reservations were no longer available to book in June, it should come as no surprise that other options would also become unavailable.
While we don’t know the specifics of how and when Disney plans to reopen to guests, it seems as if they are buckling down on capacity. June room reservations and special events may not be canceled. Disney may very well indeed reopen in June.
However, they are no longer available to book meaning they be may be trying to control the number of guests attending these special events.
Special Events
When I try to purchase tickets for Villains After Hours, the calendar takes me straight to July. We reported a few weeks ago that guests were receiving cancelation emails regarding the July 6 event.
When I try to purchase tickets for Early Morning Magic, the website tells me there is no availability for any date in June. However, I am able to purchase a ticket for an event in July.
Dining Reservations
Not only that, but I when I try to book reservations at various restaurants around the parks, I get no availability throughout the entire month. I chose random dates and times for 1 person at Crystal Palace and Via Napoli, and nothing popped up.
This does not mean the parks will be closed. One plausible reason could be that Disney is trying to limit the number of guests and closing off new reservations is how they are choosing to accomplish this.
However, I am able to book reservations for dining at Disney Springs in June. I checked both Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ and The BOATHOUSE Restaurant, and both had availability throughout the month.
We know that Disney Springs will begin a phased reopening later this month so that is likely why dining reservations for Disney Springs are available in June.
