Reopening Details
Select CityWalk venues will open for guests from 4-10 p.m. daily beginning on May 14th.
Universal Orlando has informed guests each restaurant will have a limited menu and limited seating is available. They have also informed guests that Blue Man Group, all nightclubs and Universal Cinemark will remain temporarily closed at this time.
Universal Orlando will follow CDC guidelines and have informed guests they have enhanced sanitization procedures and have also implemented additional measures for social distancing and screening.
All guests will have to comply with the following procedures as shown below.
Universal Orlando has also informed us that all Team Members are undergoing temperature checks and will also wear face coverings. Team Members with a temperature greater than 100.4 will not be permitted to work.
The limited capacity at various venues will help enforce social distancing. Signage has also been placed throughout CityWalk to help guests. Other steps taken to make sure CDC guidelines are followed are continuous and thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all tables, chairs and high-touch surfaces and offering cashless payments at all venues.
As for Universal Orlando theme park and hotels, they remain closed through at least May 31. Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk Hollywood are also closed.
Will you be visiting CityWalk when it reopens? What do you think of the guidelines they have in place? Tell us about it in the comments below or on our Facebook page. You can also share your thoughts with us in our crew on Facebook.
