It has gone back and forth, if this DVC resort was going to open. We recently shared that Disney removed Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas – Jambo House from the list of Disney Vacation Club hotels that would be opening. Read that article HERE.

Jambo House Villas are now Open With Limited Amenities

I recently did an online chat with Member Services and found that the Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas – Jambo House are now OPEN! However, there will not be much available while you are staying there.

While talking to Member Services today they shared that the only amenity that would be open would be the Uzima Pool. No shopping and dining will be available at Jambo House. I was encouraged to check back frequently on the My Disney Experience App for the most up-to-date information.

Guests will need to board the internal shuttle to Kidani Village to access dining and shopping.

Front Desk Closed

Along with dining and shopping being closed, there will be no Cast Members at the front desk. Guests are encouraged to do Mobile Check-In through the My Disney Experience App. If guests are wishing to visit the front desk while staying at Jambo House Villas they must travel to Kidani Village to speak with a Cast Member.

Email Sent to DVC Members With Jambo House Villas Reservations

DVC Members that have reservations received an email regarding their stay at Jambo House Villas. This is what the email stated:

Dear Member,

Welcome Home! We are delighted you have chosen Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House as your vacation destination and we look forward to sharing our hospitality with you!

In preparation for your upcoming stay, we would like to inform you that upon the reopening of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House, Uzima Pool will also open; however, all other amenities such as restaurants and merchandise locations will remain closed. A shuttle from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village will be provided where available merchandise locations and restaurants are located.

To aid in physical distancing efforts, we strongly recommend that you use Online Check-In Service in advance—online or with the My Disney Experience app. If you need to check-in upon arrival, check-in will be at the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village front desk.
