Today, the NBA released the results of their latest round of COVID-19 testing. Read on for details.
According to the NBA twitter account, the results that came back on July 20, 2020 revealed no positive tests for any of the players in the NBA bubble in Orlando!
The NBA released the following statement on twitter:
346 players are currently in the NBA bubble undergoing testing and none of them were positive. The statement did not clarify whether the two NBA players who tested positive prior to leaving for Orlando were included in this latest round.
In the event that a player tests positive for Covid-19, he will be isolated until he is medically cleared to rejoin the group. This is in accordance with the rules agreed to upon by the NBA and the NBA Players Association.
The season is set to restart on July 30, 2020. The players are certainly having a blast in the mean time, fishing, swimming and golfing. They are also able to book a limited number of experiences inside the parks after regular hours: Test Track, Expedition Everest and Rockin’ Rollercoaster.
It’s so fun to see the NBA players living it up in my favorite resorts: Yacht Club, Coronado Springs and The Grand Floridian.
While I’ve never stayed at the Grand Floridian, I do love the Yacht Club and Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs resort. Check out my reviews of both and Christina’s in depth review of Grand Floridian in the links above!
The NBA players do NOT have access to Stormalong Bay at the Yacht and Beach club, but they have reportedly been enjoying the quiet pool at the Yacht Club.
Now that the players are out of their initial 48 hour isolation period, their food options have drastically improved! Follow @NBABubblelife on twitter to see all the fun they are having!
