If you’ve been checking for open days at your favorite park with no luck, you will be happy to hear Disney World has added additional park pass availability!
Many Annual Passholders have been quite disappointed with how the park pass system has not worked out favorably for them. Other than the first few days of park passes “selling out,” the only days that are currently sold out are for Annual Passholders.
Disney Resort Guests and Guests with Theme Park Tickets still have availability for every day in every park for all of August and September, as seen on the Park Pass availability calendar.
During our last update for park pass availability for Annual Passholders, many dates were showing up yellow – meaning not every park was available for that particular date.
You can also see every park was unavailable for many weekends in August.
Now, let’s take a look at what is now available for Annual Passholders as of today, July 24:
Comparing the two, you can see park passes are now available for weekends in August and some previously “sold out” dates at select parks now have availability.
It’s not that Disney has increased capacity but that they have moved available “slots” (if you will) from Theme Park Ticket Holders and Onsite Guests over to Annual Passholders.
It’s also worth noting weekend availability in September is still not available for Hollywood Studios, as previously reported.
So if you are an Annual Passholder and have been wanting to visit Hollywood Studios or anywhere else on the weekends, now is your chance! Disney has added availability and who knows how long it will last!
