Universal Orlando resort is going all out for Passholder Appreciation this year! The newest perk is more Express Pass time for Premier Passholders! Read on for details.
Universal Orlando Resort’s Passholder Appreciation days are going on now! You can read all about the special treatment, exclusive menu items and discounts here.
Universal Orlando Pass Types
There are several types of annual passes at Universal Orlando Resort: Seasonal, Power, Preferred and Premier. They vary in terms of perks, benefits and blackout dates as well as price.
The Premier Pass at Universal comes with free express pass after 4 p.m. and costs $509 for Florida Residents and $559 for out of state residents, based on a 2 park pass.
More Express Pass Time
Rumor has it that Universal is extending the hours for Express Pass on their Premier Pass, allowing passholders to utilize the Express Pass queue 2 hours earlier, beginning at 2 p.m.
3 Park Pass and Payment Plan Options
This is a great time to become a Universal Annual Passholder, all passes come with a free three month extension.
I (Rebecca) like that Universal offers payment plans on Power Passes and above for all guests, whereas Disney only extends the payment plan offer to Florida Residents.
I highly recommend doing the 3 park pass, as it includes Universal’s Volcano Bay, which is wonderful and refreshing! Check out my guide to Volcano Bay here.
Universal v.s. Disney Passholder Appreciation
Universal continues to one-up Disney when it comes to Passholder appreciation. Some Disney World passholders were turned off by CEO Bob Chapek’s recent comments on the relative value of passholders.
Disney is mailing out a cute new magnet to Passholders this summer! Check it out here.
Disney is also extending the Annual Passholder discount to shopDisney, and increased the merchandise discount to 30% for a limited time!
