It’s only September, but it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Disney has released a new 2020 holiday commercial. Does it make you want to visit Disney World?
Christmas at Disney World
Last week Disney announced a lot of details regarding Christmas and what it will look like this year. Many of us have been anxiously awaiting news for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Candlelight Processional.
Would the resorts be decorated? What about Cinderella Castle? Would the usual lights be displayed this year?
Disney answered those questions, too!
Thankfully, we still see some amazing characters during the holiday season! Santa, his elves, and more will be parading around Magic Kingdom for Guests this year.
Festive dining also returns this year with Hollywood & Vine’s seasonal dining! You can read our review from last year HERE.
We also got word that Epcot will be offering Festival of the Holidays this year, just with limited experiences. JOYFUL! and Voices of Liberty will once again perform for Guests.
Christmas festivities begin on November 6 and end on December 30.
Magic is Here
Disney World has definitely gotten us into the holiday spirit with all these details, and now they have released a commercial in an attempt to draw Guests down to the Orlando area to visit.
The commercial comes just after Disney announced they were part of a campaign to boost travel in the United States.
They are teaming together with airlines, hoteliers, travel destinations, and local businesses to encourage tourism and travel.
Part of the campaign involves offering discounts for ticket packages and room only discounts. Additionally, Florida residents, Annual Passholders, and Guests who live in the neighboring states around Florida also can take advantage of various discounts!
Walt Disney World 2020 Holiday Commercial
The commercial shows various scenes of Guests enjoying holiday magic. It includes text that says “magic is” and then inserts various words that describe Disney World during the holiday season.
Words like tradition, joy, and Mickey all complete the phrase during scenes of Cinderella Castle, hanging ornaments on a tree, and various attractions throughout the four theme parks.
You can view the full holiday commercial below:
It is also on the main home page of the Disney World website.
