Starting today, Disney World is giving guests a ton of new mobile order options. Check out all the new locations and features here.
In addition to adding additional dining mobile ordering locations, Disney also includes new dining features on My Disney Experience App including mobile dining check-in and walk-up dining.
Mobile Dining Check-In
When we visited in July, this service was very spotty. More often than not, it didn’t work, and we had to check-in through cast members. However, we’re happy to report that Disney has improved guests ability to mobile check-in using phones. Disney added a walk-up feature also to encourage more Disney diners.
Mobile Dining Walk-Up List
When Disney re-opened, a new feature was included on My Disney Experience App. To access the Walk-Up List, simply select a specific restaurant, and tap on “Join Walk-Up List” shown above. In addition to the join walk-up list feature, guests can also see the estimated wait time (based on a party of 4.). Sometimes it’s so hard to plan dining 60-days before visiting the park, and this new option gives guests dining flexibility.
Mobile Order Table-Service Restaurants
We recently reported that Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villa – Kidani Village debuted the table-service mobile ordering options. Read all the details here, including mobile ordering instructions for table service. This feature allows Disney Resort hotel guests to place a to go order from a selection of items on the table-service menu inside the restaurant. Then, simply pick up food and enjoy on your resort room or balcony.
Per Disney’s website, the service will soon grow to include other select Disney Resort hotel table-service restaurants.
More Quick Service Locations Added
In order to be more efficient, Disney implemented mobile ordering at select quick service locations. Now, mobile ordering is even more important with social distancing. Check out the differences in mobile ordering since Disney World reopened here.
Several Disney World Resort quick service locations have been added to mobile ordering in My Disney Experience.
First, guests can mobile order at The Market at Ale & Compass located at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. Second, for guests staying at Disney’s BoardWalk, mobile ordering is available at BoardWalk Bakery and the Pizza Window. Third, at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, mobile order your favorite dishes at P & J’s Southern Takeout.
Disney states it also plans to add even more quick service locations making it easier to grab a bite on the go.
These latest enhancements are designed to help guests make the most of their vacation time, while minimizing contact between cast members and guests. Check back here often so see updates to mobile ordering.
