Room Types
When booking Disney rooms, guests are offered a variety of choices. Each of Disney’s four resort categories come with its own price range. Disney’s Value resorts start at around $120 per night. Disney’s deluxe resorts can cost $400 to $800 per night, Prices in the Value resorts are the least expensive. POP Century is the only choice for guests at present.
Next, Moderate Resorts cost a bit more than Value. All Value Resorts offer Motel type rooms. In some Moderate Resorts, such as the Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs guest rooms have inside hallways when they exit rooms. Check out a fellow writer’s review on Club Level at Coronado Tower here. Moderate resorts offer quiet pools and a whirlpool.
Deluxe Rooms and Deluxe Villas are the most luxurious and expensive rooms at Disney World. They offer studio rooms, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom suites. With the exception of DVC rooms, suites have been unavailable.
Great News
Select Disney Resort hotels offer terrific accommodations for parties of 5 Guests or more who wish to stay in the same room—including multi-room suites with many of the comforts of home in our Deluxe Villas.
Disney has released news that guests can start booking suites!
This is wonderful news for larger parties that have only had the option to rent DVC points (if not a DVC member), book DVC or book multiple rooms. Check out advantages and disadvantages of renting DVC points here.
The Not So Good News
When booking certain Disney World Resorts, guest have the option to choose Club Level rooms.
Club Level amenities include the following:
- Complimentary fax assistance
- Secured key access to the club level lounge, serving refreshments from 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., daily
- Free health club access
- Access to Concierge service at the Kiliminjaro Club
- Personalized Front Desk and Guest Services
- Complimentary newspapers in Club Level lounge
In addition, all room amenities are included. Guests also have access to Disney Signature Services. Read about a fellow writer’s stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Club Level here.
Unfortunately, Disney World has announced Club Level service remains unavailable.
Guests with current club level access reservations are being contacted now by the Disney Reservation Center to give them room options.
We’re happy about suites becoming available. Although we understand the Club Level may be difficult to execute with social distancing and capacity limits, but we’re still disappointed.
