Happily ever afters are returning to Walt Disney World Resort! If you are hoping for your dream wedding to be at Walt Disney World, make your plans because weddings have resumed once again.
Walt Disney World is the perfect place for celebrations. Whether it’s a birthday, engagement, proposal or honeymoon, it’s the perfect place to celebrate special milestones with loved ones.
Celebrations call for happiness and happiness brings love. It is quite common to see weddings take place at Walt Disney World.
Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings
One of my favorite series on Disney+ is Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings. I love seeing the romantic proposals in front of the castle and seeing couples get married with a sprinkling of Disney magic.
Saying “I Do”
The Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings team has announced that weddings have resumed once again as part of the phased re-opening at Walt Disney World Resort.
Like everywhere else, there is a new focus on health and safety. Weddings might look a little different right now, but the magic will still be there.
Safety Measures
Certain measures are in place. Among them are face coverings for all guests and members of the wedding party. Face coverings may be removed during the ceremony for a limited amount of time, while proper physical distancing is maintained.
Another safety measure that has been implemented is limited guest counts.
“We are honored to be a part of couples’ romantic milestone moments. As a team, we’ve worked tirelessly to implement health and safety measures and ensure the most magical experience for our couples. We are so excited to be able to celebrate our couple’s love stories, once again, at the Walt Disney World Resort!”
Korri McFann, Marketing Director for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons
Even though everything looks and feels different, it’s nice to see wedding return to Walt Disney World Resort.

The dresses are simply stunning and are sure to bring some magic to your special day.
