The New Spider Bots are on the way to Disney

Heads-up, Marvel fans! Spider bots are on the way to Disney, and we have all the details.

If you follow Disneyland news, you know that plans for Marvel Avenger Campus are underway at Disney California Adventure. Although we still aren’t sure when this new land will open, or Disneyland itself for that matter, it sounds like it will be quite exciting when the day finally comes.

Spider-Bots

It is true that you will have to wait an undetermined amount of time to experience the thrill of collecting spider bots in action. However, you might not have to wait every long to collect an actual Sider-Bot.

The bots were initially slated to be sold at WEB Suppliers across from the attraction. The intent is that guests will eventually be able to purchase and customize their own Spider-bots.

However, these bots are coming to fans before the land even opens. That’s right! According to Disney Parks Blog, Disney is releasing them for fans to purchase just in time for the holidays! You can check them out in the video from Disney Parks below.

This video makes the remote controlled bots look pretty cool. They can crawl backwards and forward and do 360 degree spins.

Even more interestingly, they can interact in battle with one another. Opponents can blast at and deflect attacks with their shields.

Where to Get the Spider-Bots

Disney is anticipating these Spider-Bots will be a hot item. So, if you want to get one, you will need to stay on your toes.

You won’t have to wait very long. According to Disney Parks Blog, “Spider-Bots and the latest WEB apparel from Avengers Campus will be available in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort, at both World of Disney and Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop beginning Dec. 4” (2020).

A few lucky fans will have early access to purchasing a Spider-bot. According to Disney Parks Blog, “If you’re an Annual Passholder, you’ll have an opportunity to make a reservation for a special upcoming, limited-quantity pre-sale event in the Downtown Disney District from Nov. 30 through Dec. 3″ (2020).

The site also suggests that Disneyland Annual Passholders head to the Annual Passholder Facebook page beginning Nov. 25 for more information on the pre-sale. Currently there is a message that states more information will be available soon!
