Reader Survey: Which is your favorite park to visit during the holidays?

We know many of you loved the character and attraction tournaments we hosted this past spring and summer. Come join in on this fun KtP reader survey – holiday edition! The poll to vote is in the link here. Make sure you find it in the article so your vote is counted!

Holiday Season at Disney World

We are almost a month into the holiday season at Walt Disney World. The festivities officially kicked off on November 6 (although decor went up at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios sooner) and ends on December 31 with the end of Festival of the Holidays.

There is so much to see, do, taste, and experience at the four theme parks, Disney Springs, and around the resorts.

Holiday Season at the 4 Theme Parks

At Magic Kingdom, you get the quintessential Disney Christmas feeling. Between the overly festive cavalcades, scrumptious snacks, garland and other decor, you are sure to get those warm fuzzy holiday feelings.

This year, the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party is not taking place, and for many that is a deal breaker. While the atmosphere during the day is exciting, it’s still not quite the same without “snow” on Main Street and rare character meets.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios takes you back in time to Christmases in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. The old-time decor and jazz music really make you feel like you’ve stepped back during these more simple times. Even Hollywood and Vine has got in on the holiday action with the Minnie’s Seasonal Dine.

Animal Kingdom’s holiday set up is completely unique to the other parks. With the eclectic decor and water flotillas, this park offers a completely different experience than the rest.

EPCOT may be the most different park this year. Since the Festival of the Holidays relies heavily on performers and the Candlelight Processional, it may feel a bit pared down this year.

Do not fret! There’s still special cavalcades, holiday kitchens, the cookie stroll, and an Olaf scavenger hunt that is fun for the whole family! And, if you’re missing the storytellers around the World Showcase, Marisol has been sharing special articles of each country throughout the week! Disney Springs and Resorts

Although this poll is focusing on the theme parks, we can’t leave out Disney Springs and the resorts! They do offer Guests holiday experiences as well.

There will be appearances by Santa, Christmas music spun by DJs, snowfall, toy soldiers, and even snowflake skaters! Not to mention all the festive food and treats, and you can have a great day or evening visiting the Disney Springs area.

The resorts offer quite a bit in the way of decor as well. While there are no gingerbread displays, the resorts still have the Christmas trees, garland, and other neat decor to celebrate the season.
