Today has been full of disappointing Disney World news, but we may have just spotted a glimmer of something great to come! Could Epcot’s newest attraction, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, be opening soon?
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Remy fans have been eagerly awaiting the opening of Disney’s newest attraction, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
Originally set to open in 2020, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure’s timeline has seen some significant delays.
The closing and phased reopening of Walt Disney World in 2020 pushed back the timeline on completion of this highly anticipated attraction.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is an attraction based on the 2007 film, Ratatouille.
The attraction first opened in Disneyland Paris and instantly became a favorite attraction to many!
In a recent sneak peek of the ride, Joe Vitale, Senior Production Design at Walt Disney World, shared “the ride is really inspired by a scene in the film where Remy falls through a skylight down to the floor of Gusteau’s kitchen.”
We can’t wait for this one! The only timeline given from Disney on the opening of this ride is “sometime in 2021.” But could it be sooner rather than later?
A possible sign of opening?
Today we saw a photo that made us wonder: “could Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure be opening soon?”
Twitter user David_Heller25 shared this photo of the walls down around the anticipated attraction.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is now guarded by some serious security plants! The plants are on wheels, so they will be easily removable when the ride opens.
Will that be soon? With no confirmation from Disney, we’ll have to sit back and wait, but this is definitely a positive sign indicating that possibility!
