NBA Returning to the Magic
Earlier this month an official release shared, “The NBA G League announced today that 18 teams, including 17 NBA G League teams and G League Ignite, will take to the court in February at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, FL The top eight teams will advance to a single-elimination playoff.

NBA Schedule
Today the NBA G League shared the official game and telecast schedule for 2021. This schedule includes 18 teams composed of 17 NBA G League teams and the NBA G League Unite.
Each of these teams will play 15 games which is represented in the 135 game schedule. The schedule of play will begin on February 10th and end on March 6th. After these scheduled games, the top eight teams will advance to a single-elimination playoff.
This final round of play will begin on March 8th. The NBA G Final will be streamed on YouTube TV on March 11th.
Scheduled Play will begin February 10th with the NBA G Final streaming on March 11th.
Contributing to the Magic
ESPN shared that NBA teams have been asked to contribute between $400,000-$500,000 for this playing schedule. This will help offset the cost of daily COVID-19 testing, food, and medical care.
During the NBA’s last visit to the “Most Magical Place on Earth” many shared that their food was less than “magical.” Check out their complaints HERE. These NBA contributions may assist a more magical food service.

How will this affect your Disney Trip?
Play for these games will be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. During the last tournament play, NBA players were housed separately from Disney Resort Guests creating the “Disney Bubble.”
