Disney has just announced Guests with travel packages can access a new website to access various documents and other add-ons. Get all the details here.
Disneyland Reopening
Disneyland is in the final weeks of closure before reopening on April 30. Much is being done in preparation including the park pass reservation system opening up and the resumption of ticket sales. In the meantime, Guests can enjoy A Touch of Disney to get their Disney fix.
Disneyland has also sent out information about the park experience. We now have more details about boarding groups for Rise of the Resistance, which characters may be out and about, and when Avengers Campus will open! Get all the details HERE.
New Website
In response to the phased reopening of Disneyland, changes to the fulfillment of vacation packages are taking place. Affected Guests are those with vacation packages that include hotel reservations and theme park tickets, plus optional add-ons such as transportation vouchers and gift cards.
In the next few days, The Walt Disney Travel Company (WDTC) will launch a secure digital website where Guests will be able to access and print tickets, vouchers and gift cards at their convenience through a secure link. This will be provided via email or on the Guests Disney account prior to their hotel arrival.
In conjunction with this new digital fulfillment system, WDTC will transition away from manually packaging and delivering these entitlements to Guests’ hotels in advance of arrival.
When can you access the new website?
If you have a vacation package beginning April 29, 2021 and later, you will begin receiving communications regarding these changes approximately 5 days before your hotel arrival date.
It looks like this new website is only for Guests of Disneyland Resort in California. Guests traveling to Disney World in Florida will not have access. Perhaps we will see something similar in the future at Disney World?
Do you have plans to visit Disneyland soon? What do you think of the new website? Let us know in the comments or on Facebook.
