Valet parking is returning to The Walt Disney World Resort. Check out the full list of participating resorts and when they will resume service right here.
Resort and Park Offerings
When Disney World reopened in July 2020, valet parking at the resorts was not a service that would be offered during the initial reopening phase. The only exception was for Guests with disabilities that needed parking assistance.
Some other resort amenities that have been temporarily suspended are in-room dining at some resorts and spa and salon services. Additionally, many restaurants are still closed at the resorts.
However, we are almost one year into the reopening, and Disney is taking many steps to return to normal operations. Hand washing stations have disappeared, you can now take your mask off when taking outdoor photos, and self-serve drink stations are back.
Valet Parking
Disney World is beginning to offer valet parking to guests staying onsite. It will roll out in phases with Grand Floridian Resort & Spa beginning today, May 1. The rest of the schedule is as follows:
- May 2 – Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- May 2 – Disney’s Riviera Resort
- May 16 – Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
- May 16 – Disney’s BoardWalk Resort
- May 30 – Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
- May 30 – Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- May 30 – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village
- June 7 – Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Also be advised this is a tentative schedule so be sure to ask ahead of time if you intend to use this service. The cost for valet parking is $33/night.
Return to normal
It seems Disney is gearing up for the Guest experience to be more like it was before the pandemic. Of course it will likely take several more months or even years before we see everything back to the way it was.
However, with all these changes lately I do wonder what next big announcement will be.
