Disney Shares New Details for AquaMouse on Disney’s Wish

Disney has shared more details for their newest attraction (that’s right) that will be on board the Disney Wish. Read on for all of the fun details.

The Disney Wish is the newest ship in Disney Cruise Line’s fleet. It is promising guests a voyage on a ship that will be more enchanting than ever.

From having Cinderella as the main atrium statue to luxurious amenities, entertainment, stunning staterooms, and spectacular dining, this is not just any ordinary cruise ship!

Disney’s Wish also boasts fun kids clubs and Disney’s first ever Disney attraction at sea. This cruise ship is going to be going on a lot of people’s bucket lists!

Disney Parks Blog has shared some exciting new details for the AquaMouse, Disney’s first “attraction at sea”.

As the story goes, Mickey and Minnie are starting their very own seaside excursion company — aptly named “Port Misadventures” — on board the Disney Wish, and adventuresome cruisers will join them on an undersea excursion to Mermaid Lagoon that will inevitably (and hilariously) go awry.

Families will be immersed in “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse” animated shorts aboard AquaMouse, the first-ever Disney attraction at sea.

At the height of the show, you’ll blast out of the tunnel and embark on a wild water ride around the upper decks. First, you’ll zip into the forward funnel through an enclosed tube surrounded by dazzling lighting effects, followed by a quick dash through a dark tunnel that opens up to reveal breathtaking views of the ocean.

To see a cool video of this amazing ride in motion, take a look at this post here. Similar to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests will be transported to a cartoon world of “Scuba Scramble”, a new animated short that plays out through oversized virtual portholes.

Your ride will end in “a soaring loop over the edge of the ship, with clear views down to the deep blue sea.”

Disney AquaDuck on the Disney Fantasy

This ride sounds amazing! I (Maggie) was pretty impressed with the AquaDuck on the Disney Fantasy. Will the AquaMouse be just as amazing or possibly even better?

What do you think of the AquaMouse that will be on board the Disney Wish? Will you be booking a cruise on Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship for next summer? Do you have plans to sail on board the Disney Wish? Tell us about it in the comments below or on our Facebook page.
