Disney continues to tease us with more fireworks testing

Here’s your daily “Disney is testing fireworks” post. How many more of these will we have to write until Disney makes an announcement?! Check out the videos below.

Nighttime Entertainment

For many, Disney isn’t Disney until fireworks return. The full Disney experience isn’t the same without some kind of nighttime spectacular in the parks. Whether you catch the Star Wars Spectacular on your way out of Hollywood Studios or stake your spot on Main Street an hour before Happily Ever After begins, the nighttime entertainment is a special part of your time at Disney.

Disney World has been testing fireworks on and off for the past several months and have even posted job listings for its return. Not too long ago, Epcot tested the music for the temporary fireworks show, Epcot Forever, instead of the new Harmonious show. It led us to wonder if maybe Epcot was going to use that show again before debuting Harmonious.

There’s even a rumor that Disney will bring back fireworks for the 4th of July. I am eagerly anticipating an announcement so I can stop writing about fireworks testing and start writing about fireworks returning!

More Testing

Epcot seems to be doing the most fireworks testing as of late. Just last week, a huge 15-20 minute show was blasted over the park, allowing Guests staying in the area to witness a pretty incredible show. I know that is a very special treat for those staying in the area as it provides entertainment not currently being offered during park hours.

Reporter Brooke Geiger McDonald shared quite a few videos of Disney testing fireworks.

She took these videos from the bridge between Boardwalk and Beach Club.

I can definitely agree with her that if I were there and woke up to the sound of fireworks, I would be running out of my room to watch!

Have you caught any of the fireworks testing lately? Are you anxious for Disney to make an announcement regarding its return? Let us know in the comments below or on Facebook.
