We are just a few short weeks from Disney’s Boardwalk reopening! Now, more of the options we love to experience are reopening as well! Check out what has reopened and its new unusual hours.
Disney’s Boardwalk
The BoardWalk Resort is one of the most unique resorts in all of Disney World! Not only is it a full hotel, but the actual boardwalk offers fun entertainment and plenty of dining choices as well.
Described as a resort that evokes turn-of-the-century boardwalks in coastal cities such as Coney Island and Atlantic City, the BoardWalk Resort has a theme that sets it apart from the rest – from the Nanny chairs to (now retired) creepy clown pool.
I absolutely love the charm of this resort, and the many food and entertainment options put it towards the top of the list of best spots at Disney World! You can read my full guide HERE.
Reopening
The DVC portion of Disney’s BoardWalk Resort reopened last June, but the Inn side has remained closed. When I stayed there last summer, the Boardwalk was quite sad as many of the food and entertainment options remained closed.
Slowly, we have seen the area come back to life with Big River Grille, the new Boardwalk Ice Cream shop, and even Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas reopening in recent months.
The BoardWalk Inn will reopen soon! Ahead of its reopening, the BoardWalk To Go cart is back in business! I am still holding out hope for Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall to reopen as well but no word on those yet.
To Go Menu and New Hours
The Boardwalk To Go offers plenty of easy items to fill that rumbly tumbly! The cart serves items like hot dogs, corn dogs, french fries, mozzarella sticks, cheeseburgers, pulled pork, and chicken.
The hours are a bit strange however, and we hope those change by the time the Inn reopens. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The rest of the week (Thursday – Sunday) hours are 12 pm to 8 pm.
